The Sky Walk, managed by the Hualapai Tribe is located on tribal lands Grand Canyon west rim about 125 miles from Las Vegas, consists of a horseshoe shaped steel frame with glass floor and sides that projects about 70 feet (21 m) from the canyon rim. A bus takes you to the Sky Walk and other attractions like The Old Bat Mine where bats lived and their dropping collected to use for cosmetics. I visited in 2010 and on the way we passed many Joshua Trees and interesting places to eat!
